Responsibilities of the Full-Time Store Associate

- Process customer purchases, handle general cleaning tasks, and stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain clear communication with the store management team.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory issues, scanning errors, and any other concerns.
- Participate in inventory counts as per company guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and security measures regarding documents and data.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by store management.
Requirements for the Full-Time Store Associate
Given below are the qualifications, experience, and skills required for the Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI:
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Prior retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
Skills:
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Proficient in operating equipment, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to apply company policies and procedures effectively.
Physical Skills:
- Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store regularly.
