Job Description

The Senior Specialist Marketing Operations, MLP, and SEO will focus on enhancing ESPN’s marketing landing pages and boosting organic traffic through SEO strategies. The role includes leading reporting, executing A/B testing, and collaborating with multiple teams to improve website performance. 

This position requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, strong operational experience, and advanced analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a track record of driving results through CMS tools, SEO practices, and conversion-focused optimization. Working closely with ESPN’s product marketing team, the specialist will play a key role in modernizing existing tools and processes. 

This is a full-time, onsite position based in New York, NY, reporting directly to the VP of Product Marketing. The role is fully dedicated to ESPN and offers a dynamic opportunity to impact business growth through performance-driven strategies.

Responsibilities of the Senior Specialist Marketing Operations

The following are the responsibilities of the Senior Specialist, Marketing Operations at ESPN:

  • Manage and process update requests for ESPN marketing landing pages (MLPs) using Cannonball and Nexus.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, launch, and assess A/B tests that improve MLP conversion rates.
  • Lead performance reporting and data analytics related to all MLPs.
  • Identify, build, and implement new features for MLPs to meet evolving business goals.
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase visibility in organic search results.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities for content optimization.
  • Monitor web performance metrics to uncover improvement areas and ensure sustained growth.
  • Collaborate with teams such as product marketing and CRM to apply SEO best practices across marketing efforts.
  • Define and execute a roadmap for automation, streamlining tools, and modernizing internal systems.
