Job Description

As a Retail Environment Specialist (Drug & Pharma), you will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of the 5Ps strategies within the Retail Environment in Guatemala. You will collaborate with local and regional teams to ensure alignment on business priorities, action plans, and shopper insights. The role will also involve working closely with the Retail Marketing Managers in various countries to drive sales growth and increase market share for Colgate-Palmolive products across multiple categories.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the definition of priorities in the hub and each country to drive Colgate’s growth above market levels in every Retail Environment.
  • Identify Retail Marketing priorities for the Latin America Division and ensure alignment and implementation across the hub and countries.
  • Lead the development of 5Ps strategies by Retail Environment, ensuring communication with the Retail Marketing Managers and implementing action plans to grow Colgate’s sales and market share.
  • Oversee the compliance of Colgate’s monthly review of priorities and performance evaluation in each Retail Environment.
  • Align study priorities with Retail and Shopper Insights Latam, monitor the execution of studies, and lead the delivery of results to regional and local teams.
  • Build and manage the Shopper Marketing Activity grid in each country, ensuring the integration of shopper insights.
  • Lead the development of 3-Year Strategic Plans by Retail Environment, ensuring local adaptation by Retail Marketing Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with Retail Category Development priorities and improve relationships with customers.
  • Lead the participation of Retail Marketing in new product creation and implementation, defining the 5Ps strategies.
  • Organize and execute business reviews as per the hub and Latam Division requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all Colgate-Palmolive policies and standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, working as a Customer Development Executive (CDE), Key CDM, SDM, or in Marketing.
  • Experience and understanding of Shopper and Retail Environments.
  • Knowledge of Colgate-Palmolive’s brand strategy, analytic tools, InStore Essentials, and Retail Category Development (RCD).
  • Experience in the Pharma sector (preferred).
