The Project Engineer Summer Intern at Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. will gain hands-on experience in project management and field operations within the construction industry. This role supports project coordination, document management, and team collaboration to ensure timely and quality construction delivery. 

As a Project Engineer Summer Intern, you’ll assist with reviewing submittals, updating schedules, processing payments, and maintaining contract documentation. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where safety, quality, and people are core values. Responsibilities of the Project Engineer Summer Intern

The following are the responsibilities of the Project Engineer Summer Intern at Joseph J. Albanese, Inc.:

  • Monitor and oversee production activities with the Foreman and Superintendent
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of field timecards
  • Review project submittals and maintain contract files
  • Assist in preparing contract documents and tracking material deliveries
  • Update project schedules and participate in internship meetings
  • Draft purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders
  • Submit subcontractor invoices and request payments
  • Coordinate daily project activities and support field teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
