Job Description

The Logistics & Project Manager at Penske Media Real Estate will oversee international supply chain operations, procurement, and coordination for multiple construction projects. The role involves managing logistics from the U.S. to the Bahamas, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, and supporting the smooth execution of construction activities.

Responsibilities of the Logistics & Project Manager

  • Manage the entire shipping process, from the U.S. to the Bahamas, ensuring on-time delivery of materials.
  • Oversee customs clearance procedures, working closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers.
  • Address and resolve any shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies in the supply chain.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, handle warehousing operations, and ensure smooth last-mile delivery to project sites.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Manage procurement records, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules.
  • Track material lead times to coordinate with construction schedules, preventing any delays.
  • Support multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure timely and accurate material deliveries.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Bahamian import regulations and required project documentation.

Requirements for the Logistics & Project Manager

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years in logistics, procurement, or construction project coordination.
  • Proven experience with Caribbean or island-based logistics, procurement, and international shipping operations.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Bahamian import regulations, customs procedures, and freight forwarding
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, Microsoft Projects, or Bluebeam.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
