Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented, independent professional ready for a challenging and rewarding role? ReSource Pro is seeking an Insurance Field Auditor (1099/Contractor) to play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of insurance policy premiums.

In this role, you’ll collect financial data from insured businesses, conduct remote audit interviews, and compile comprehensive audit reports. You’ll occasionally travel to conduct on-site audits to ensure accurate premium calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to various on-site audits within a 30 to 100-mile radius from your base location to gather essential financial data from insured businesses.
  • Analyze complex financial records and documents to ensure accurate insurance premium calculations.
  • Conduct remote audit interviews with clients and insured businesses to collect necessary data.
  • Prepare and submit detailed audit reports summarizing findings for insurance providers.
  • Maintain professionalism and build strong, trustworthy relationships with clients during the auditing process.
  • Manage audit schedules, ensuring audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Adapt to changing audit priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must reside in or near Seattle, WA.
  • Must have access to a personal phone and laptop/computer.
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards tasks and clients.

Experience:

  • Prior insurance audit experience (preferred).
  • Experience with industry-standard audit software (e.g., Nexus, Future Audit) (preferred).
  • Customer service or administrative experience (preferred).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (beneficial).

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to dissect complex financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • Proficient in using computers and industry-related software.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
