In this role, you will be responsible for providing review support and ensuring premium audit operations comply with industry standards, LAI, and state-specific rules. You will collaborate closely with auditors, providing clear communication and mentorship to help them maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
As a Primary Reviewer, you will evaluate audits (physical, virtual, and phone), manage the audit queue, and ensure that audits align with carrier-specific guidelines. The role will allow you to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of Insurance Audit Reviewer
- Serve as the primary reviewer for all premium audits, including physical, virtual, and phone audits.
- Ensure that all audits comply with industry standards, LAI, state-specific regulations, and carrier-specific guidelines.
- Manage and prioritize the audit queue to maintain a steady workflow while meeting deadlines.
- Provide mentorship to auditors, offering guidance and feedback to improve audit quality and accuracy.
- Communicate clearly with auditors during the review process, either via phone or email, to address any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain production and quality standards as directed by management.
- Regularly collaborate with team members to optimize auditing processes and achieve company goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- WCRIB Certification or APA designation is a plus.
- Active industry certifications are highly preferred.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of insurance audit experience (Preferred).
- Working knowledge of PASS, ASUM, and Nexus systems is advantageous.
- Experience with audit processes, procedures, and industry standards is crucial.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide other auditors.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of audit procedures and insurance-specific regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using computers and audit-specific software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Positive, proactive attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
