Job Description
As an Infrastructure Site Analyst at Colgate-Palmolive, you will join the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization to provide local IT support. This role requires delivering onsite and remote technical support to business users at corporate headquarters in New Jersey and New York City. In addition to offering excellent customer service, you will participate in local projects involving network and server implementations, system administration, and technology maintenance.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth IT operations across multiple locations while adhering to company policies and security protocols.
Responsibilities
As an infrastructure site analyst, your responsibilities are:
- Deliver Technical Support: Provide onsite and remote desktop support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and delivering excellent customer service.
- Facilitate New Employee Onboarding: Set up necessary technology access and hardware for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- System Administration and Compliance: Perform system administration tasks in line with company policies and security standards, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- IT Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and tracking of IT equipment, ensuring proper asset management and budget adherence.
- Manage AV Implementations: Lead the implementation and maintenance of audiovisual systems, collaborating with technical teams to resolve any issues.
- Audit and Compliance: Ensure IT processes meet audit standards and facilitate compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Travel for Onsite Support: Provide technical support at multiple locations, including corporate offices in New Jersey and New York City, as required.
Requirements for Infrastructure Site Analyst
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree, Technical Certification, or equivalent experience required. (Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering)
Experience:
- 1+ years of IT infrastructure-related work experience.
- Experience in providing IT support for PCs, Apple devices, smartphones, and tablets.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows 11, Active Directory, Mac OS, and Server 2016.
- Ability to prioritize tasks using IT ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with LAN management, including Cisco wireless.
- Competency in patching and labeling network equipment.
- Experience with Google G-Suite Workplace, SSO, MFA solutions, and VMware/Nutanix virtualization platforms.
