Job Description
Capstone Logistics is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Warehouse Site Manager to oversee operations at our Pompano Beach, FL, location. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong background in warehouse and distribution management.
As a Warehouse Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, driving productivity, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. This hands-on leadership role requires flexibility, organization, and a proactive mindset to lead a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Site Manager
As a Warehouse Site Manager, you will:
- Lead daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding service levels, performance, pay, and accountability.
- Maintain and transmit daily work logs to corporate.
- Audit daily labor and billing reports for accuracy.
- Address and resolve customer service or associate-related issues promptly.
- Enforce Capstone’s policies, safety regulations, and work rules.
- Conduct and document weekly safety meetings.
- Assist in managing budgets and cost control.
- Schedule shifts based on customer demands.
- Hire, train, and supervise new warehouse associates.
- Oversee timely and accurate data entry for services provided.
- Handle daily financial closeout, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll reporting.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree or Associate Degree preferred (Equivalent experience accepted).
- High flexibility with start times, days worked—including weekends and holidays.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or third-party operations preferred.
- Proven history of supervising warehouse employees, including hiring, training, and termination.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Budget management and understanding of P&L statements.
- Intermediate computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong mental math skills—especially in estimating rates, addition, and subtraction.
- Ability to coach, train, and lead effectively.
Physical requirements for the Warehouse Site Manager:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in the warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Shifts
The Shift Schedule for the Warehouse Site Manager is as follows:
- Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 7:00 AM
- End Time: Until Finish
- Must be flexible with start times and available on weekends and holidays when required
