Job Description
Billboard is hiring a Sales Professional with 8+ years of sales, media, and brand/agency experience. This role requires a strong background in selling 360 brand partnership programs, including branded content, tentpole activations, sponsorships, and digital media.
Billboard is experiencing significant growth, working with top-tier talent, music industry professionals, and Fortune 500 brands. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Billboard brand.
We’re looking for someone who can effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including brand clients, agency partners, and creative teams while taking a consultative approach to sales. The ideal candidate will drive new revenue opportunities and develop strategic partnerships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of Sales Professional
- Strategically sell 360 brand partnership programs, including branded content, tentpole activations/sponsorships, and digital media
- Work with all stakeholders, including brand clients, agencies, social, creative, and PR teams
- Use a consultative, solution-based approach to meet client needs and drive growth
- Develop new revenue streams and product opportunities through innovative ideas
- Excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, adapting quickly to new opportunities
- Negotiate and close deals effectively, while maintaining strong communication with clients
- Prioritize building relationships with clients through in-person meetings and entertainment, ensuring long-term partnerships
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in sales, media, or brand/agency roles
- Proven ability to strategically sell 360 brand partnership programs, including branded content, activations, sponsorships, and digital media
Experience:
- Strong relationships with senior clients at both brand and agency partners, particularly in key verticals such as Auto, Spirits, CPG, Retail, and Insurance
- Experience driving revenue growth and developing new business opportunities
Skills:
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with brand clients, agency, social, creative, and PR teams
- Flexible, with a high sense of urgency and ability to seize opportunities
- A consultative and solution-based approach to sales
