Job Description
MIS, a ReSource Pro company, is seeking a motivated Associate Accounting Services to join our billing team in Maitland, FL. This entry-level position is responsible for insurance billing and reconciliation tasks for clients. You will report to the department director and work closely with a small, collaborative team to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting services.
The role begins with a comprehensive 3-month training program designed to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge. Upon successful completion of training, you will have the option to transition to a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities (After Training)
- Perform various administrative accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Reconcile billing systems with underwriting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Post daily cash receipts and maintain accurate bank reconciliations.
- Manage and oversee the invoicing process to ensure timely billing to clients.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and assist with monthly close procedures.
- Communicate directly with clients to address billing issues and other inquiries.
- Assist with other accounting duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Prior experience in accounting or billing processes is a plus but not required.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external personnel.

Shifts
Standard business hours. Hybrid work schedule available after the initial training period of 3 months.
