Responsibilities of the Information Security Analyst

• Collaborate with third-party SOC teams to improve alert quality and reduce false positives
• Develop and maintain automated response playbooks (SOAR) to streamline incident handling
• Conduct threat hunting activities by analyzing patterns, creating detection rules, and generating ad-hoc security reports
• Establish and apply baseline security configurations for systems, networks, and cloud services
• Manage the firm’s security tools, including next-gen firewalls (NGFW), web gateways, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms
• Perform routine security assessments and recommend improvements to reduce vulnerabilities
• Contribute to projects related to security enhancements, policy updates, and tool integrations
• Deliver security awareness support to attorneys and staff by offering technical guidance and best practices
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams on shared security goals

Requirements for the Information Security Analyst

Basic Qualifications

Experience
