Responsibilities of the Room Service Cashier

- Process all guest payments accurately and securely, following company accounting procedures.
- Adhere to property control audit standards and cash handling policies.
- Ensure the cash bank is accurate and secure at all times.
- Set up and maintain a clean and organized cashier workstation with necessary supplies.
- Count cash at the end of each shift and complete cashier reports.
- Handle discrepancies and ensure the bank is properly secured.
- Transport cash between workstations securely.
- Follow all safety and security policies and report any unsafe conditions.
- Provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging and addressing guest needs with professionalism.
- Communicate clearly with guests and team members, following proper telephone etiquette.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.
